The Company’s objective is to achieve “zero” accidents through the continuous improvement of its systems.

Quality Policy

The Company strives to earn the trust of shipowners, charterers, crew and the maritime industry, and to be recognized worldwide as a high-quality, reliable ship manager. This can only be achieved by providing professional services that meet all specified requirements. Through its professional ship management services, the Company fully understands and protects the interests and assets of its partners, with the utmost care and a genuine commitment to meeting their expectations.

Environmental Protection Policy

The Company is firmly committed to continuous efforts to improve environmental performance in all areas required by applicable laws and international regulations, and the Company’s SMS is directed towards a cleaner environment, ensuring that:

  • Prevention of pollution is strongly emphasized. The Company makes efficient use of its resources, including financial and human resources, to maintain systems, equipment and components on board.

  • Environmental risks are continuously minimized.

  • Information on environmental activities is shared with external stakeholders.

The Company’s objective is to achieve “zero” oil spills through ongoing improvement.

Health and Occupational Hygiene Policy

The Company regards health and hygiene as a top priority in its operations. In particular, the Company ensures that all employees perform their duties under safe and hygienic conditions.

The Company aims to achieve the highest standards of personal health and hygiene through activities that are subject to continuous improvement.

Alcohol and Drug Policy

It is the policy of the Company that no crew member, regardless of rank, is permitted to navigate or operate equipment on board while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other substance having a similar effect.

Smoking Policy

The Company fully recognizes that smoking on board (especially on tankers) can pose a serious hazard to human life, cargo and property. Smoking while the vessel is in port, at terminals and during cargo operations is strictly prohibited.

Energy Efficiency Management Policy

The Company believes that, although sea transport is the most fuel-efficient mode of transportation, further action must still be taken to improve the energy efficiency of ship-related operations. Increased energy efficiency enhances environmental protection by reducing emissions.

Energy efficiency is controlled primarily through well-planned and properly managed ship operations, and requires the personal commitment of everyone involved in these tasks. To succeed, energy efficiency and conservation must become part of the vessel’s daily operations and routines.

Security Policy

Senior management of the Company is committed to providing a safe and secure working environment on board and supporting the vessels in detecting and preventing terrorist or criminal activities.

The Company is also committed to providing the necessary security guidance, notices, documentation and resources to meet security objectives and to fully comply with the requirements of the ISPS Code and any additional requirements that may be imposed by the relevant contracting government authorities.

Vetting Policy

The following Company vessels (oil / chemical / LPG carriers) will be subject to specialized vetting inspections by terminal or port vetting services whenever they are nominated for commercial employment:

  • Vessels to be chartered by customers;
  • Vessels calling at customers’ ports;
  • Vessels carrying dedicated cargoes for terminals.

Our system is recognized in most terminal / port inspections.

Code of Ethics and Discipline

The Code of Ethics and Discipline (hereinafter referred to as “the Code”) is based on the Company’s beliefs and values and sets out its commitment to honesty and integrity, with reference to relevant policies of the US, UK and EU. The main function of the Code is to establish the core values and principles guiding the Company’s activities, to be known and followed within the Organization, on all managed vessels, and by all agents, contractors, suppliers and other third parties with whom the Company cooperates. The Code applies to the entire Company and all vessels under its management.
